The mother of a little boy starting school shared an article online about her sons first day.

The article, which was shared on Romper, was captioned, ''My Son Is Busting Gender Stereotypes, But I'm Worried For His First Day At School.''

She tells the story of how she brought her five year old out shopping for school essentials and asked him to choose a backpack and he chose a Wonder Woman backpack.

In the article she wrote,

''I’ll be honest, my first response to him was, “Are you sure?” Without skipping a beat, he replied, “Yes, I looked at all of them and I love superheroes the MOST and this Wonder Woman backpack is my favorite! It has a CROWN, Mom! IT’S PERFECT!”

''I admittedly have some fear for my sweet Isaac. For how the world can treat someone who doesn’t easily fit into stereotypes or who blazes their own path instead of following everyone else.''

She continued to talk about how proud she is of her son. She loved that when he thinks of 'superhero,' he thinks Wonder Woman.

She expressed her opinion on the gender stereotypes and how she doesn't understand why her son would have to play with ''guns and trucks'' instead of barbie dolls.

Gal Gadot happened upon the article and decided to share it with her 1.94M followers.

The superhero wrote, ''Just read this article about breaking gender stereotypes by Katie Alicea. Such an important topic and something I believe in so strongly. I hope Issac wore the crown and his WW backpack proudly to school.''
