Ed has had enough of Twitter and its negativity and he has left the site.

Ed has completely deleted his Twitter account just hours after his cameo appearance in Game of Thrones aired. He has deleted his account, just less than a month since he vowed to stop using it completely.

When you search for his profile @EdSheeran, this is what you find.

Ed was really excited about his role in the hit TV show, and was sharing images on Instagram of him in full GoT attire.

It appears that the comments and reaction became too much for Ed. There was quite the mixed reaction from viewers.

Last month, in an interview with The Today Show in New York, Ed called it an 'over reaction' when it was reported he was quitting Twitter for good. It was after this that he announced on Instagram 'Loads of Hoo-har about me quitting stuff. I haven’t quit anything, I’m just not reading anything, except Harry Potter. Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th yo.'

In the meantime, we wait for his return.
