The Sun claim that she has been seen out and about, and that she has a very important role in the upcoming show.
Rather than being a host or coach, Cheryl will reportedly be a mentor and 'dance captain'.
The Greatest Dancer is said to be in the very early stages of production at the moment, and will be presented by Ashley Banjo and Alesha Dixon.
Earlier this year, Dermot O'Leary appeared to confirm that Cheryl would also be returning to The X Factor later this year as a judge.
Yesterday, Cheryl's boyfriend Liam took to Instagram to show their son Bear in a cute onesie.
