A charity concert will mark the opening of the Manchester Arena in September. The venue has been closed since May's terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert, which left 22 people dead.

We Are Manchester will take place at the Manchester Arena on September 9th. All of the proceeds that are made will go to the Manchester Memorial Fund.

It's been confirmed that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will headline the event. The lineup also includes The Courteeners, Blossoms, Rick Astley, Tony Walsh (Longfella) and a DJ set from Clint Boon.

There's more acts to be announced in due course.

Tickets go on sale Thursday August 17th at 9am from Ticketmaster UK

According to recent reports, the One Love Manchester benefit gig for the families of the victims raised just over £18 million.
