Roxanne Pallett has apologised to Ryan Thomas over the Celebrity Big Brother punching row.

The Emmerdale actress had claimed Ryan "punched her repeatedly, unprovoked" and completely deliberately.

This led to drama in the CBB house with housemates undecided as to who to believe.

Roxanne walked from the show on Saturday morning after hearing crowds chant 'get Roxy out' on eviction night.

She appeared on Jeremy Vine's new Channel 5 show this morning to set the story straight admitting that she got it wrong.

"I shouldn't have questioned Ryan's motivation. I got that wrong."

Jeremy pointed out that had there been no camera footage of the incident Roxy claims "would have broken Ryan's career".

Roxy replied, "He couldn’t disprove his intention and I couldn’t disprove, or prove, the feeling, but since I’ve been out, I looked at the clip and spoke to my family and reflected in a normal environment, because it’s not normal in there. I wasn’t thinking straight and that’s something I need to go away and work on, I need to be a better person..."

She continued, "I’m over-enthusiastic and dramatic, they are my character traits I need to look at and better myself, this is a serious subject and it’s something I need to focus on now not just to rebuild my career but my personal life, this is something that’s overshadowed everything because it’s a serious issue to me, all I want to do now is reassure everyone I’m well aware I overreacted, I apologise massively to every person I’ve offended, everyone I’ve disappointed and doubted the intention behind the reaction."

It is rumoured that by leaving the show prematurely Roxanne forfeited her paycheck for appearing.

Ryan's girlfriend also gave an interview this morning.

She appeared on the Victoria Derbyshire saying that the scenes have been hard to watch and that she hasn't slept much since the incident.

"He wouldn't hurt a fly, its been so hard because we know the truth, but for him to go through this and to think everyone outside thinks he's a woman beater is awful."

Twenty-one of Roxanne's Emmerdale co-stars took to Twitter to share their opinions on the incident.

Kevin Fletcher, who played Roxanne's on-screen husband Andy Sugden, didn't hold back.

Since leaving the CBB House Roxanne has reunited with her fiance and family.
