Bette Midler isn't impressed with the Disney Channel.

Last month, we reported that a Hocus Pocus remake was in the works, and that David Kirschner (who worked on the 1993 classic) is set to executive produce.

Bette isn't on board with it and has branded it as 'cheap'.

Speaking in New York at the Restoration Project's Hulaween event on Monday, Bette shared her thoughts.

People report that Bette said 'I know it's cheap. It's going to be cheap! I'm not sure what they're going to do with my character. My character is very, very broad and I don't know who they're going to find to play that.'

Bette was also asked that night if she would return if the price was right, and she replied 'No, no, no!'

The original Sanderson sisters Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, and the original director, Kenny Ortega are not involved either.
