Every time Ariana Grande's name has rolled off your tongue, chances are you've pronounced it wrong. But, it's ok. She's been saying her name wrong too.
Ariana appeared on the Apple Music Show, Beats 1 and made the revelation. She was chatting about what her name will be when she marries Pete Davidson, and said that she's wondering how she will pronounce her surname more than anything else.
Speaking to Ebro Darden, Ariana revealed that her grandpa pronounced it totally different.
"Well, my brother kind of changed it to 'Grahn-day' because like 'Grandey' was kind of like the, like, I guess Americanised version of it, you know? It made it more, like, chill whatever."
It sounds like Ariana is keen to changing her name back some day.
"I grew up saying 'Grandey' and I think of my grandpa and I wish I said 'Grandey' more."
