Two months ago, Ant McPartlin went into rehab after his wife Lisa and TV partner Declan Donnelly intervened.

It was after he admitted he was battling with depression, alcohol and prescription drugs.

In an interview with The Sun, Ant has spoken out after his stay in rehab.

Ant admitted that he "was at the point where anything — prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs — I would take."

Ant thanked his wife Lisa and TV partner Dec for their incredible support along the way.

He added: "As soon as I asked for help, I was admitting I was done with it all. Lisa and Dec gave me a bit of a send-off from mine. And they’ve been brilliant throughout."

Dec also tweeted when Ant was spending time in rehab thanking fans for their support:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thank you for all the kind messages and well wishes for the big fella. He will be touched. Your support is, as ever, much appreciated.<br>DD xx</p>&mdash; antanddec (@antanddec) <a href="https://twitter.com/antanddec/status/876412320368513024">June 18, 2017</a></blockquote>
