Alexandra Burke has revealed that her mum has passed away.
The singer broke the news on Twitter yesterday.
She also announced that she would still continue taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Alexandra said that it was a "dream of" her mums that she would "one day be part of the show" and that said that she "would have wanted me to carry on."
