One Irish lady on her J1 was left pretty red faced last night in the restaurant that she's working in, and she doesn't think she's ever going to live it down.
Emma is over in Chicago living it up for the summer months, and she had a surprise guest who popped in for a bit of grub!
Emma was hosting last night in Barcocina in Chicago when Leo Varadkar popped in to grab a spot of dinner with a friend. She did not recognise him one bit. Despite Leo having made a reservation, there were no seats at that very moment for him to sit outside, so Emma kindly placed them at the bar until their table was ready. The only thing that Emma recognised at this point was the fact that this man was also Irish, and she got very excited.

That was all well and good, a few minutes passed, Emma went back to tell them that their seat was ready for the two of them.
Leo explained that they were waiting on another guy, and Emma said that she'll move them in a few.
At this point, Emma's pal Eimear told a clueless Emma that Leo Varadkar was outside, his friend had arrived and the three of them were squished into this tiny table in the corner.
Safe to say Emma was completely scarlet, as you would be.
Eimear moves Leo and his two mates and apologises for the wait.
Eimear and Emma went on to take a very embarassingly awkward picture.

Leo thought the whole thing was gas, and he seemed very impressed. He tweeted Emma afterwards!

We can also confirm that Leo is a fan of shrimp tacos and ordered them during his visit. Solid choice Leo. We approve!
