Over the weekend, it was reported that Liam and Cheryl were on the rocks.

According to The Sun, the pair have spent the last few months 'bickering' over their lack of quality time together.

Since leaving One Direction, Liam has embarked on a solo career and it has put a certain amount of strain on the relationship.

An insider said revealed to the publication 'there's a big age gap between them. If they didn't have Bear they would have most likely split up by now.'

On top of this, Cheryl has been busy working with The Princes Trust Cheryl's Trust centre. This is a fundraising campaign, which gives support to the vulnerable young people in Newcastle.

It opened today, and Cheryl was there for the grand opening.

Cheryl also did an interview on BBC Breakfast.

While speaking about the Trust, she was also asked about her personal life.

Cheryl said 'Talk of my personal life is not frustrating. It doesn't bother me at all as my focus is solely on this and I've waited seven years and none of that matters - this is most important to me.'

She then turned the focus back on her work.

Seven years ago I had a big desire to do this and here we are today with the Prince's Trust. It's an incredibly vulnerable age and people find themselves in all sorts of problems - self-esteem issues, confidence issues.

'They've said coming here is the first time they've been listened to and the fact that my centre can provide that is amazing to me'.
