After losing countless music legends in 2016, the pressure really is on the music world to produce some incredible music - and Arctic Monkeys have given fans that little ray of hope.
The band released their fifth studio album AM in 2013, and fans were left wanting more and eagerly anticipating their next one.
Frontman Alex Turner kept busy working on his side-project The Last Shadow Puppets with Miles Kane, and had said in the past that the Arctic's were not in any rush to put out another album.
Matt Helders was also working elsewhere. He was busy with Iggy Pop on his recent album Post Pop Depression.
But it seems that 2017 could be the year of the Arctic Monkeys revival!
Alex, Matt, Jamie and Nick were spotted reunited together in Sheffield over Christmas, sparking rumours that a new album is coming our way!

Now you're probably just thinking that they were home for the festive period - you know, a few turkey and ham sambos and a bitta pudding, but no! Ladies and Gentleman, you can believe the hype.
According to Shamir Masri from BBC Sheffield, the boys are back in town to work on their new album.

UNREAL!
AM won the award for Best Album at the Brit Awards 2014, which saw Alex deliver the most brilliant acceptance speech and the iconic mic drop.
And now, we wait.
