Three things to watch on TV this week:
We've been looking forward to this for ages- there has been a lot of excitement for Louis Theroux's three brand new documentaries and the first is airing this week. According to the BBC, 'Louis Theroux: Dark States - Heroin Town' will focus on "America's love affair with prescription painkillers." A crackdown on over prescribed painkillers has led to two million Americans are turning to cheaper and more easily accessible drugs for their addictions which has led to a huge increase in fatal heroin overdoses. In this doc Louis will head to Huntington in West Virginia which is described as the "ground zero of the nation’s heroin epidemic". The two other documentaries 'Murder in Milwaukee' and 'Sex Trafficking' are out later this year.
We can't believe we're into series nine of Modern Family....nothing makes you feel old when you see characters like Manny and Luke now gone from kids to adults in the blink of an eye! This series picks up after their high school gradation (we are SO old!) when Jay forces the whole family to take a boat trip.
3) Living with Lucy- TV3, Tuesday at 10pm
Well, it just got interesting....Lucy Kennedy always gets a great insight into whatever celebrity she shacks up with in her series, but tomorrow night is set to be extremely interesting as she is moving in with the ever-controversial Katie Hopkins. We wonder if we'll see a softer side to Katie? Or if she'll be throwing all sorts of digs at Lucy?! Either way, this is going to be very entertaining.
