However, Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she nearly turned down the role of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City because she didn't think "the time was right".
The actress has been speaking to Jimmy Kimmel about her new TV show called 'Divorce', which is set to premiere on HBO in the states next week.
Sarah spoke about how she initially said no to show bosses because after recording the pilot she got a part in a play on Broadway.
