Pictured above, Edinburgh Castle is a must visit. Be sure to take a stroll through the Old Town, the Royal Mile and eat some Haggis! It's delish - we promise.

Rosenborg Castle is particularly gorgeous in Autumn...there's a certain magic in the air! If you're Disney fanatics like us, be sure to pop down to the Langelinie promenade and take in the original Little Mermaid statue. Better yet, take a boat trip and see it that way!

It would hardly be right to mention Manchester without 'United' or 'City' following after. If you're a football fan, head to Old Trafford or the Etihad Stadium for a tour; you'll enjoy it even if you're not a football fan. The Greater Manchester Police Museum is another great visit - open every Tuesday for free!

Head to The Paper Mill Museum or take a quick trip across the Rhine old-style with small boats available at 4 points along the Rhine within the city. Don't forget to load up on the chocolate before you head home!

First and foremost...

It has to be done! Explore the story of how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of fame and fortune from their humble childhood beginnings. Find out more here. As with Manchester, a trip to the football grounds at Anfield is well worth it.

Last but by NO MEANS least, a place where Christmas markets come first and foremost. You NEED to see more photos...
