Director of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, has revealed what the first ten minutes of the next season of the show will look like.

Earlier this year, Murphy confirmed that the next season of the show will focus on the recent US election and it looks like Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton are set to feature in season 7. However, they will not be casting people to play them, instead you will see them appearing on television.

Speaking to E! Online, Murphy revealed: "The first 10 minutes of the season, this season, takes place in a very eerie macabre way on election night and there's something terrible that happens in the lives of our characters on election night as they're watching it all go down,"

He continued: "Which in itself was a horror story, so it's like a horror story upon a horror story,"

The director also said that future seasons of the show will be crossing over with older seasons.

There has been no word yet on when the new season will air but based on previous years, it should be some time in October.
