2) Fields, Friday @ Whelans

If you're into modern-folk-rock music, then these are a really gorgeously refreshing band to keep an eye on. I used to work with one of them so can vouch that they are good! "FIELDS are Seán O’Brien, Emmet Casey, Killian Leahy and Des Brodie. Formed as a full collective in 2016, the alternative-folk quartet have impressed audiences across the country at high profile showcases with a sound that marries the intimacy of folk-hinged story-telling with powerful melodies and carefully entwined harmonies." 3) GCN Eurovision Party, Saturday @ The Sugar Club

If Eurovision is your thing and you haven't been to this - well then you haven't lived. It's an annual sell-out, the Douze Points Party is the place to be to watch the final of the Eurovision. There are amazing prizes to be won, by both the country that come on top of the leaderboard and the losers at the bottom, along with plenty of other spot prizes to go around. And the whole thing is followed by an amazing Eurovisionary Disco into the wee hours.

4) District Magazine: Issue 002 Launch, Thursday @ Tara Building

District Magazine is a mag packed full of deadly things happening in Ireland including music, film, culture and food. Its first issue created waves and now they are back again with issue 2. "Issue 002 is an exploration of fate, expectation, and even impending doom. We’re looking at the concept of ‘future’ and how it shapes the culture, music and art around us."
