Dystopian drama 'The Handmaid's Tale' has been the big winner at the Emmy Awards overnight.

It's claimed five gongs for outstanding drama series, lead actress, supporting actress, writing and directing.

Based on the best-selling novel by Margaret Atwood, it tells the story of a woman forced to live as a concubine in a totalitarian future.
