Remember UFC 205, when some Conor McGregor fella made history and became the first simultaneous two-weight world champion of the organisation when he beat Eddie Alvarez to claim the lightweight title?

Of course you do.

However, do you remember the match that took place before that? The welterweight title scrap between Tyron Woodley and Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson?

If you didn't watch it, you should. It was by far the fight of the night.

It ended in quite farcical circumstances, with Woodley being declared a split decision winner, before the result was corrected to a majority draw (47-47, 47-47, 48-47 Woodley).

There have been calls for the pair to go at it again, after the last fight received rave reviews and was awarded the Fight Of The Night bonus by the UFC, as well as the fact it ended in a draw with no outcome other than the fact Woodley got to hold onto the belt.

Well, the good news is in, and Woodley and Wonderboy are going to have their rematch:

There had been some doubts that the fight would take place, as Conor McGregor hinted that he might go for the welterweight strap after his win in New York in November.

There was also talk that Woodley would square off with middleweight champion Michael Bisping at a catchweight, with videos suggesting the pair made a verbal agreement to the super-fight.
