A brand new docu-series The Keepers is coming to Netflix next month, that will explore the unsolved murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a 26-year-old nun who disappeared in Baltimore in 1969. Sister Cathy taught English and drama at Archbishop Keough High School.
A priest who was also a member of staff at the school and some students who attended the school during the time of her disappearance have been considered as suspects by police. However, still to this day, the murder has not been solved.
According to Netflix, it will explore 'the horrific secrets and pain that lingers nearly five decades after her death.'
The Baltimore Sun are reporting that the series is produced by Tripod Productions and Film 45. The director is Ryan White, who made 'The Case Against 8' which is a documentary that deals with the efforts to overturn a ban on same-sex marriage in California.
