9 out of 10 Irish people see their mother as a role model.

A survey for One4All also found what makes men most similar to their mother figure is their temperament, while women believe they share the same values as their mum.

1 in 5 people believe their mother's most admirable quality is 'her strength.

One third of respondents say that a great piece of advice is the most valuable thing they’ve ever received from their mum or mother figure, followed by her outlook on life (26%) and inheriting her intelligence (11%).
