1. A man was shot in the head in Coolock last night and is in critical condition. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

2. The National Emergency Coordination Group for Severe Weather are meeting at 10:30 this morning to discuss what has been nicknamed the 'Beast from the East'.

3. The Rolling Stones have been announced for Croke Park. They will play Thursday 17th May with tickets going on sale Friday 23rd March. 

4. Office of National Statistics have predicted that the average cost of a wedding in 2028 will be €38,000. That's €8,000 more than the current average.

5. And finally, An Post are cracking down on people without a TV license. Last year 11,600 people were brought to court.
