1. Three dog owners in Dublin have been convicted for animal cruelty. One received a lifetime ban from owning a dog and a €1000 fine. 

2. Senator Ger Craughwell has announced plans to run in the next presidential election. Michael D Higgins hasn't officially said that he will go for a second term but it's expected he will. 

3. Conor McGregor Jr. was brought to watch his Dad train during the week but he fell asleep.

4. Results from a survey on how many Irish pubs there are per county have been released. Cork tops the list with 955 and Dublin comes in second with 772.

5. And finally, tickets for Longitude went on sale at 9am this morning. Cardi B, Solange, Sampha, Khalid, SZA, Travis Scott, Post Malone and more are set to play.
